Using a documentary–analytical method and a comparative approach, and drawing on contemporary developments in social work ethics, the present study addresses the following question: What are the primary forms through which ethical dilemmas arising from professional confidentiality and privacy emerge for clinical social workers, and what fundamental ways of dealing with these dilemmas are available? To this end, after outlining the theoretical foundations of confidentiality and ethical dilemmas, four case files are presented and analyzed as representative instances of confidentiality-related ethical dilemmas in social work. The study then examines three modes of ethical reasoning—case-based reasoning, inductive reasoning, and principle-based ethics—in dealing with these dilemmas. Finally, it proposes an eightfold typology and a staged model to guide clinical social workers’ ethical decision-making in such situations.<br /><br /> رازداری و محرمانگی از ارکان بنیادین رابطه مددکار اجتماعی و مددجو و از اصول محوری در اسناد اخلاقی این حرفه به‌شمار می‌آید‌. با این حال، شواهد میدانی حاکی از آن است که همین اصلِ مسلّم، در عمل یکی از مهم‌ترین خاستگاه‌های بروز دوراهی‌های پیچیده‌ اخلاقی است؛ به‌ویژه در موقعیت‌هایی که حفظ اسرار مددجو با پیشگیری از آسیب جدی به خود او یا دیگران، الزامات قانونی و قضایی، پاسخ‌گویی سازمانی یا حقوق اشخاص ثالث در تعارض قرار می‌گیرد‌. پژوهش حاضر با روش اسنادی ـ تحلیلی و رویکردی تطبیقی، ضمن بهره‌گیری از دستاوردهای معاصر «اخلاق مددکاری اجتماعی» در پی پاسخ‌گویی به این پرسش است که صورت‌های اصلی بروز دوراهی‌های اخلاقی برای مددکاران اجتماعی در فعالیت‌های بالینی از ناحیه‌ رازداری و محرمانگی حرفه‌ای چیست و راهکارهای مواجهه با این دوراهی‌ها کدام است؟ بدین منظور، پس از تبیین مبانی نظری رازداری و دوراهی اخلاقی، چهار پرونده‌ موردی به‌عنوان نمونه‌های شاخص دوراهی‌های اخلاقی رازداری در مددکاری اجتماعی گزارش و تحلیل می‌گردد‌. در ادامه، سه شیوه قیاس‌گرایی، استقرا گرایی و اصل‌گرایی اخلاقی در مواجهه با این دوراهی‌ها به آزمون گذاشته می‌شود و در پایان، گونه‌شناسی هشت‌گانه و الگویی مرحله‌مند برای تصمیم‌گیری اخلاقی مددکاران اجتماعی در این دوراهی‌ها پیشنهاد می‌شود.<br /><br /> https://ethics.riqh.ac.ir/article_13982_8dab60c8b68e041a6745c0dd2fa57ff9.pdf
