Ethics is a fundamental element in shaping and preserving the cultural integrity of society, as reflected in the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) emphasis on perfecting moral virtues as a key aspect of his mission. This study explores the possibility of obligating moral actions within the framework of Imami jurisprudence and principles. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the study first categorizes jurisprudential and moral obligations and refutes accusations of ethical relativism against Muslim scholars. It then examines the process of fiqh-based obligation of moral actions from the perspective of primary rulings. By analyzing "breach of promise" as a moral action that can be subjected to jurisprudential obligation, the research demonstrates that Imami jurisprudence possesses the capacity to enforce certain moral actions, with "intention" not constituting an obstacle to this obligation.
