. Humanistic psychology, with its focus on conscious choices and self-actualization, provides a framework for understanding ethical action, but its claim of gender neutrality has been questioned. This research demonstrates how feminists perceive humanism's gender neutrality as a reflection of masculine hegemony and consider it complicit in the suppression of non-masculine genders. Simultaneously, the utilization of humanistic concepts by some feminists to advance their goals, including in the humanistic reading of Gilligan's ethics of care, also faces criticism. This reading, with its emphasis on women's lived experiences and relationships, confronts challenges such as ethical relativism and difficulty in explaining universal ethical standards. Fundamentally, ethical agency in humanistic approaches, in terms of foundations and methodology, has been criticized by opponents of this approach. Opponents, citing the quality of evidence and the focus on "healthy" and "self-actualized" individuals, question the effectiveness of this approach for generalizing ethical prescriptions to all individuals, especially in collectivist cultures. Therefore, based on the findings of this research, which is written in a descriptive-analytical manner, each of the humanistic perspectives presented, despite attempts to explain women's moral agency, faces theoretical and practical shortcomings that require serious revision
